Contact and directions

Since the parking slots behind the house are occupied quickly, we recommend the following parking areas:

Wäsen: Drive across the railway tracks in Lindau-Zech opposite the company Rhomberg. The parking lot is directly behind the railroad crossing. The beach house is a 5-minute walk away, passing through the nature reserve.

Hartplatz Zech: The entrance is located in Lindau-Zech next to the Rhomberg building. The parking lot includes more than 30 RV spaces as well. However, no vehicles are allowed in or out between 10-6pm. More information can be found here.

With the Lindau City Bus you can reach the STRANDHAUS via line 5 and the stops "Leiblachstraße" or "Grenzsiedlung Zech". Click here for the timetable.

From Bregenz you can reach the STRANDHAUS with the Landbus Unterland via line 14a. The stops are "Lindau Grenzsiedlung" or "Kunert". You can find more information about the timetable here.

From the Austrian train station "Lochau-Hörbranz" you can reach the STRANDHAUS in about 15 minutes by foot.

The Beach House is located directly on the Lake Constance Bikeway between Lindau and Bregenz. In front of the terrace there are numerous bike racks where you can securely fasten your bike.

Close to the STRANDHAUS (5 minute walk) is the marina Lindau-Zech, which is operated by the TSG Lindau-Zech e.V., water sports department. There are some guest moorings for private boats and yachts. As in every harbor here at Lake Constance, there is an obligatory overnight fee from about 3 p.m., which must be paid on site at the harbor master's office.
